RAIN IS CONFETTI...
from the sky.
Tents Tents Tents
If your venue is outdoors, whether ceremony or reception, consider putting a hold on a tent if you are not able to move indoors.

ASK FOR A HOLD...
before offering a down payment. Some companies ask for 1/3 nonrefundable of the total. Always ask for the hold first and see what they offer. If it's not a busy time for them, they might hold it for free.

CONFIRM THE FINAL DECISION DATE
Sometimes this can be 4-5 days in advance of the wedding date because weather is unpredictable.
TENT SIDES
Some sides have clear panels like windows, others can be bustled to the sides. Ask what kind they offer to understand what you'd like.

FANS FANS FANS
Don't forget to order fans for the inside of your tent. You'd never believe the humidity if there isn't airflow.

LIGHTING
Most tent companies will recommend lighting on the inside, but remember that at night if you have no lighting, it will be dark. Consider string lighting across the top, or perimeter lighting. Uplighting also works nicely too, plus candles of course!
Overcast Photos
Are what photographers dream of! They say the lighting is perfect for photos if the day is a bit overcast.

COOL UMBRELLAS
Because why not? Clear umbrellas are always a hit, and make sure you have enough for your bridal party too.

PREP THE HAIR
Talk to your hair stylist about the type of 'do' you'd like to make sure it won't frizz out, or fall out, with rain or humidity.
