Seating Charts

Allseated.com offers guest tracking including seating with the creation of a floor plan.

If you enjoy Excel, we recommend tallying the totals below to double check your work:

  • Each food type per table

  • Number of guests per table (adults/kids)

  • Total number of food types

  • Total number of guests (adults/kids)

If you like being crafty, bust out foam board and little pins like Monica Gellar BING.

But no really, this blog walks you through a crafty way to do something similar! This helps with seating only, not meal choices.

Budget Thoughts

Wedding Flowers Budget Tip:
Two words will lower your floral expenses: Seasonal and local. When you buy what's in season, you get flowers at the peak of their supply and at a cost that's normally lower. Plus, when they're locally grown they don't need to be shipped halfway around the globe. So not only do you save money, but you also reduce your carbon footprint. Win-win.

Wedding Beauty Budget Tip:
Schedule your makeup & hair trial on the day of your engagement shoot—we’re talkin’ double-duty beauty!

Wedding Drinks Budget Tip:
Host an open beer and wine bar only, or offer a signature cocktail. Guests can enjoy these free drinks, or opt to purchase hard liquor themselves at the bar. Also, don’t feel like you have to pay extra for a champagne toast. Very few guests actually drink the champagne, and they can toast to you with their favorite hosted beverage instead.

Wedding Attire Budget Tip:
Borrow outfits for your bachelorette party or bridal shower from your most stylish friend, or use a budget-friendly attire rental service like Rent the Runway!

Wedding Cake Budget Tip:
Purchase a modest but pretty two-tier cake for display and cutting, and have a sheet cake sitting behind the scenes to serve your guests.

Tipping Vendors

We always recommend you tip people who are doing a service that day like hair, makeup, photo, DJ, day of coordinator. Sometimes you may want to tip the catering staff if you want to tip them above and beyond (but remember 20% is normally included for them already). Normally 15-20% is standard however when your photographer package is $2000 even $200-$300 is a nice tip. Some people don’t tip at all so we thank you for considering the vendors!

When preparing tips, remember that we are happy to handle this. Place cash/check tips in pre-labeled envelopes, sealed, and we will take the morning of the event.
